To empower and support local community organizations, NGOs and CBOs at selected sites, so that they may pilot and carry out sustainable interventions that support livelihoods and reverse biodiversity loss and implement adaptive activities against climate change.

The National Steering Committee (NSC)
The National Steering Committee (NSC) plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation of the GEF-SGP Phase 7 in Kenya. Comprising representatives from government agencies, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, the NSC provides strategic oversight and guidance throughout the program's lifecycle.
NSC Responsibilities
